Notarize a Vehicle Title

Selling or transferring a vehicle in Florida means notarizing the title — and sometimes verifying the VIN. A Florida notary cannot copy-certify a vehicle title (it's a state record), but we notarize the title transfer and can perform a VIN verification, on-site at your driveway or dealer.

// the florida rule

Can a Florida notary certify a copy of a vehicle title?

No — but here's what we can do.

No to copy-certifying — a vehicle title is a state-issued record (a duplicate comes from the DMV/FLHSMV, not a notary). But the title transfer itself requires a notary: we notarize the seller's and/or buyer's signature on the title. Verifying a VIN is also one of the six official Florida notarial acts, which we can perform when an out-of-state or rebuilt title needs it.

// what we can do

We notarize your vehicle title so it's legally valid — and apostille it if it crosses a border.

Notarize the signature

Ready to notarize your vehicle title?

Bring the unsigned document and a valid photo ID. We come to your home, office, or bedside across Palm Beach County, days, evenings, and weekends — bilingual when you need it.

// how it works

Three steps to a notarized document.

01

Don't sign yet

Bring the unsigned document and a valid photo ID — Florida law requires you to sign in front of the notary, never before.

02

We verify & witness

We confirm your identity, witness your signature, and (where required) arrange the extra witnesses the document needs.

03

Notarized — and apostilled if needed

We notarize on the spot. If it's headed abroad, we then run it through the apostille channel and track it end-to-end.

Vehicle Title FAQ.

Do I need a notary to transfer a Florida car title?

Yes — Florida titles require the signatures to be notarized for the transfer. We meet the seller and buyer (in person, as the law requires) and notarize the title on the spot, including at the curb or a dealership.

Can you verify a VIN for an out-of-state title?

Yes. VIN verification is an official Florida notarial act; we inspect the vehicle and complete the form (HSMV 82042) when the DMV requires it for an out-of-state or rebuilt vehicle.
