Notarize a Tax Return
Mortgages abroad, visa applications, and foreign income filings sometimes ask for a certified or apostilled tax return. A Florida notary cannot copy-certify an IRS tax return — but we can notarize a sworn statement about it, and apostille IRS-issued documents for use abroad.
// the florida rule
Can a Florida notary certify a copy of a tax return?
No — but here's what we can do.
No — a filed tax return is a federal record; a true certified copy comes from the IRS (Form 4506), not a notary, so a notary cannot copy-certify it. What we can do: notarize an affidavit or sworn statement that attaches your return (a 'jurat'), and apostille IRS-issued documents through the federal channel (U.S. Department of State) for overseas use.
// what we can do
We notarize your tax return so it's legally valid — and apostille it if it crosses a border.
Ready to notarize your tax return?
Bring the unsigned document and a valid photo ID. We come to your home, office, or bedside across Palm Beach County, days, evenings, and weekends — bilingual when you need it.
// how it works
Three steps to a notarized document.
Don't sign yet
Bring the unsigned document and a valid photo ID — Florida law requires you to sign in front of the notary, never before.
We verify & witness
We confirm your identity, witness your signature, and (where required) arrange the extra witnesses the document needs.
Notarized — and apostilled if needed
We notarize on the spot. If it's headed abroad, we then run it through the apostille channel and track it end-to-end.
// honest pricing
What a tax return costs.
$10 per notarized stamp (FL statutory) + travel if we come to you

A foreign bank wants my 'notarized tax return' — what do they actually need?
Usually a notarized affidavit swearing the attached return is true and complete (a jurat), sometimes apostilled. We notarize that affidavit and, if required, apostille it. If they want an IRS-certified copy, that's ordered from the IRS and we apostille that.
Can you apostille an IRS tax transcript?
An IRS-issued transcript is a federal document apostilled by the U.S. Department of State. We manage that federal channel and can add a certified translation for the destination country.
