We can't certify a copy of an already-signed POA, but we do the part that actually makes it work: the notarization (and the apostille for international use).

Can a Florida notary certify a copy of a power of attorney?
No - but here's what we can do.
No to copy-certifying a finished POA, but that's not what you need. What a POA requires is a notary to witness and notarize your signature at signing (Florida POAs need notarization and two witnesses). We provide that. For a POA used in another country, we then apostille the notarized POA so it's recognized abroad.

Do I sign the POA before you arrive?
No - Florida law requires you to sign in front of the notary. Bring the unsigned POA and a valid photo ID. Florida POAs also need two witnesses; we can guide you on arranging them, and we offer witness service.
My POA is for use overseas. Can you apostille it too?
Yes. We notarize the POA, then apostille the notarization through the Florida Secretary of State so it's valid in the destination country, with a certified translation if needed.
